Hand-sculpted and painted barn owl in flight

Each of the various flowers {ceanothus palmeri and baby blue eyes} were crafted from paper, wire and paint

Glass shadowbox measurements: 3.25 L x 4 W x 1.5 H inches

In the soft whispers of the dusk,

A raccoon finds solace in the hush.

Among the trees, under the brush,

It settles down in nature’s plush.

Its eyes close gently, dreams aflush,

Beneath the stars’ celestial blush.

In the silent world, there is no rush,

Raccoon, oh, raccoon, sleep in peace, no crush.
