Hand-sculpted and painted barred owl mother and her owlets
The owls were made from stone clay, polymer clay, acrylic paint and down feathers from my dear parrot Lily's natural molting. Moths have been known to eat down feathers like these so if moths inhabit the space this piece will be displayed, protecting it with a glass dome or glass cabinet is recommended.

Portions of this sale will be donated to organizations working toward stopping the culling of barred owls on the west coast and instead finding kinder, more humane solutions to the spotted owl and barred owl population issue.
